Teratoma

Teratoma,banda de Brutal death Metal, fundada en 1993 por Tito (voces), J.David ( guitarra) y Juanjo (guitarra) entrando a formar parte a los pocos meses proveniente de la banda de grindcore Agacoples Roque haciéndose cargo de la batería.

La banda durante una temporada decidió cambiar el nombre y pasar a llamarse Suffering, aunque pocos meses después dados el alto número de bandas con ese nombre decidieron recuperar el antiguo.

En 1994 tras encontrar serios problemas para encontrar a un bajista, Juanjo pasó a tocar dicho instrumento y buscar un segundo guitarra, después de varias pruebas a diferentes músicos Juanma cubrió el puesto.

Finalmente en mayo del 1996 se grabó y editó la primera demo oficial de Teratoma en los estudios Punch in out bajo el título “…From inside” con cuatro temas de pesado e intenso brutal death metal. La demo recibió muy buenas críticas de los medios especializados como S.O.D Magazine, Morticianumskull, Grinder magazine por citar algún ejemplo, unos meses después Juanjo que había formado junto otros músicos la banda de Death/black Ered Lithui embrión de Ered dejaría Teratoma por mutuo acuerdo para dedicarse por completo al nuevo proyecto.

El resto de miembros siguieron trabajando y, finalmente en 1998, aceptaron la oportunidad que Goremania les ofreció para grabar CD.

En octubre de ese mismo año entraron en los Located-0 estudios para grabar 10 temas incluyendo una versión de SODOM, gran referente para el grupo. Después de inumerables e insufribles problemas durante meses la banda decidió editar el trabajo por otro sello Fleshfeast Productions y dos años después de su registro en el 1999 editó el cd “The terato-genus reborn”. La portada al igual que la demo fue realizada por el artista Javi Freak. En este período de tiempo Roque también abandonaría la formación entrando en su lugar Sergi.

Ese mismo año por fin la banda incorporo a Xavi Revilla como bajista fijo. Después de probar algunos meses con otros músicos, en el año 2002 se entraron de nuevo en unos estudios para registrar un segundo cd que nunca llegaría a ver la luz dada su pésima producción. A finales del 2002 los miembros de teratoma decidieron dar por terminada la vida de la banda, a finales de febrero del 2015 antiguos miembros de la banda deciden reactivarla.

Teratoma, Brutal Death Metal band, was founded in 1993 by Tito (vocals), Pitu (guitar) and Juanjo (guitar) becoming part a few months from grindcore band Agacoples Roque taking charge of the drums.

The band for a while decided to rename "Suffering", though few months given the high number of bands with that name they decided to recover the old.

In 1994 after finding serious problems to find a bassist, Juanjo went on to play that instrument and seek a second guitar, after several tests at different musicians Juanma filled the post.
Finally in May 1996 was recorded and released the first official demo of teratoma in studies “Punch in out” ... From inside, with four tracks of heavy and intense brutal death metal. The demo received very good reviews from the specialized media as SOD Magazine, Morticianumskull, Grinder magazine to quote an example, a few months Juanjo after had formed along other musicians the Death / black band Ered Lithui embryo of Ered, leaving Teratoma by mutual agreement to devote himself to the new project.

The remaining members continued working and finally in 1998, accepted the opportunity offered them to record cd from Goremanía prod.

In October of that same year they entered the Located-0 studio to record 10 songs including a cover of Sodom, great reference for the group. After innumerable and unbearable problems for months the band decided to publish the work for another label Fleshfeast prod and two years after its registration in 1999 released the cd "The terato-genus reborn".Cover Artwork by Javi Freak. In this period Roque also abandon and Sergi taking his place.

That same year the band finally incorporated Xavi Revilla as fixed bass player. After trying a few months with other musicians, in 2002 they again entered a studio to record a second CD that never see the light given its dismal production. In late 2002 teratoma members decided to terminate the life of the band,in late February 2015 the band has been reactivated
