Will Ludford is a Blues/Rock Guitarist, starting in his first band in Leighton Buzzard with school friends. They played music by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and early American Blues bands.
When Will left school he worked at Camden Motorsl and saved to buy his first Fender Guitar. Will also worked at a music shop in Bridge street Leighton Buzzard, which was owned by Richard Watts, of Simms Watts Fame... Here he often jammed with friends Art Nouveau who became Kajagoogoo. Will also played in a band with members of the chart toppers band Liquid Gold.
Will also did session work at the now legendary Chalk Farm Studios in London. There he met and worked with the talented Alton Ellis and Sly and Robbie, very professional people and musician. Will says that one of the highlights of his life was being at the Beatles Apple Headquarters in Saville Row, where he met and chatted with the Beatles, George Harrison encouraged him to go on and further explore his music, he describes George as the nicest man he ever met in music.
In his career Will has worked with numerous well known bands and musicians such as Tiny Tim, Alton Ellis, George Harrison, The Barron Knights, The Detroit Emeralds, Joe Meek, Chalk Farm Studios.
Having several awards presented to him for his music, Will was humbled to be voted worlds best guitarist for 2014 by XLRadio Europe.
Will Ludford is signed to The Big Buzzard Record Label.
